Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with strong packaging design experience to join our creative team. This role will focus on designing and developing high-quality packaging, catalogs, and sales materials while ensuring consistency across all brand assets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a structured approach to project execution, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging Design & Execution
- Design and develop packaging artwork that aligns with brand identity and market trends.
- Utilize packaging templates to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure all packaging is functional and production-ready.
- Organize design files with proper layers, filters, and labeling systems for seamless collaboration.
- Coordinate with factories and suppliers to obtain dielines and finalize packaging specs.
Creative Asset Management
- Maintain and organize the image and design asset library, ensuring all assets are easily accessible.
- Work with photo editors to ensure only the most up-to-date and high-quality images are used.
Catalog & Sales Material Development
- Gather necessary information on print size, theme, and page count before starting projects.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling sales presentations, holiday sell sheets, and product fact sheets.
- Reuse and repurpose existing assets when applicable to ensure efficiency.
Project & Workflow Management
- Work within Asana or similar tools to manage design tasks and project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of design projects.
- Communicate proactively to resolve any roadblocks that may affect deadlines.
- Ensure all design files are correctly labeled and organized for easy handoff.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on packaging design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong understanding of print production processes, dielines, and material considerations.
- Experience designing both digital and print assets, including catalogs, packaging, and sales presentations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce brands.
- Knowledge of Asana or similar project management tools.
- Familiarity with photo editing and asset management best practices.
- Understanding of data-driven design approaches to improve marketing and sales impact.
