Job Description

We’re building a powerful tool to fight media bias and restore trust in journalism. This Chrome extension and web platform will detect and rewrite biased news content into objective, balanced summaries — empowering readers with clear context and multiple perspectives. As a founding developer, you'll take charge of building this product from the ground up with ownership, creative freedom, and long-term impact.Key Responsibilities:Develop a Chrome extension that rewrites biased articles into objective summaries in real time.Implement NLP-driven tools for bias detection, multi-perspective input, and contextual rewriting.Build features like redline edits (original vs revised content), source linking, and inflation/GDP-adjusted context.Help expand the platform to a full web version with bias dashboards and publication scoring. Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Chrome Extension APIs, and front-end frameworks (React preferred).Familiarity with NLP techniques or libraries (e.g., spaCy, OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).Ability to develop MVPs quickly and iterate based on feedback.A passion for factual reporting, free thought, and creating technology that empowers the public. 1.
