Up Hellas is growing! As part of our company's development, we are looking for a talented and passionate person to be part of our Accounting Team, in the position of:

In-house accountant

Your role and main missions:

• Bookkeep and check each of our invoices (billed and received)
• Prepare and upload payments
• Reconcile customer and supplier balances
• Assist to preparation of various monthly and quarterly reports & publications for the Group: P&L and balance sheets
• Propose and implement optimizations of our systems and processes
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax computations
• Assist to other accounting needs
• Improve within the organization and get familiar with company’s financials and obligations aiming to get involved in the tax filings in the future and become an important member of a gradually growing inhouse accounting department

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)

• Good knowledge of French will be considered a plus
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Proficient in the use of SoftOne
• Owner of accountant’s license of B’ degree
• Familiarity with tax filings in practice
• Solid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards
• Good Knowledge of Greek taxation rules
• Team player, meticulous, attention to detail
