Job Description

The Accounting Head Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department to ensure the accurate, efficient, and prompt submission of accounting-related reports, tax management, audits, and compliance with regulatory bodies. This role ensures management of accounting processes while leading a team of finance professionals. Key Responsibilities:Performs analysis of financial performance and/or results of Company's operations on a monthly basis including calculation of Corporate Income Taxes and preparation of write-up for ManCom presentation, internal and external audits.Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, including filings with BIRCoordinate and manage the annual audit process.Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Performs other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position.Qualifications:Graduate with BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.A Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulation/laws.Working experience in handling general accounting and reporting, and tax management.Strong leadership with skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting.Work experience in the BANKING / CHEMICAL TRADING and RENTAL industry.
