 THE PRACTCAL BITS

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30am and 5:30pm. You will be based in our Wellingborough head office with the option to work from home up to two days a week on successful completion of probation.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Account managing a portfolio of racing clients to build great relationships with clients.
• Looking after clients VAT returns and to get a better understanding of their VAT needs, ensuring all returns are submitted quarterly.
• Processing invoices, VAT submissions and completing final VAT submissions when required.
• Speaking with clients over the phone and email, ensuring any queries taken are dealt with or passed on correctly and promptly all whilst providing exemplary customer service.

WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?

• Experience in an administrative role within financial services or accountancy setting to include reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• A strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented mindset.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and effectively manage your own workload.

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

• An interest in horseracing.
• Knowledge of banking procedures.
