Prescott's, Inc is a leading medical device Service company focused on the distribution and refurbishment of multiple types of medical devices including sterilizers, surgical microscopes, pumps, monitors, and anesthesia machines. We are currently looking for a part time Accounts Receivable and Collections Associate to join our finance team. This role will be required to work at least 3 days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections. You will play a critical role in maintaining positive cash flow and customer relationships, ensuring that all collections are handled professionally and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts and reconcile account balances.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue accounts to ensure prompt payment.
• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Identify and escalate issues with accounts as needed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR and collection reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and transactions with customers.
• Collaborate with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly) basis.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Stay current on industry best practices and compliance regulations.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and collection techniques.
• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally over the phone with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
