This role will focus on creating a vision for what a technology first finance organization will look like, automating financial processes, developing analytical tools, providing analysis using advanced analytics tools to make business decisions and building scalable solutions for our FP&A and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Python, SQL, Analytics & ML, Financial systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning), Automation tools (RPA platforms, workflow automation), Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure basics) combined with business/accounting knowledge, enabling them to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.Core Technical RequirementsExpert in SQL for complex queries, database design, and ETL pipelinesPython programming with focus on pandas, numpy, and ML librariesProficiency in ML/Analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau)Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning)Knowledge of automation tools and RPA platformsUnderstanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries for financial automationBuild and implement ML models for financial forecasting and analysisCreate data pipelines between financial systemsAutomate reporting and analysis processesLead development of scalable FP&A solutionsProvide advanced analytics support for business decisions Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMaster's in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting3-5 years combining technical and financial responsibilitiesStrong programming background with focus on financial applicationsUnderstanding of accounting principles and FP&A processesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills to bridge technical and business conceptsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesTeam leadership and mentoring capabilitiesDetail-oriented with strong quality control mindsetAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
