As part of our ongoing journey to greatness, we are looking for a dedicated Area Sales Manager for the North East region of the UK. This position is pivotal in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships while driving sales performance and market share for our brands, Methven and Deva.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and expand the customer base in the North East region for both Methven and Deva brands.
- Implement and review customer-specific pricing strategies to maximize profit margins.
- Prepare and regularly review business plans to align with corporate goals and performance metrics.
- Analyse sales data and prepare detailed sales reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and key market insights to inform strategy.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of the customer base.
- Maintain effective communication regarding marketing and public relations activities with assigned accounts.
- Proven experience in sales management or a related field with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Analytical skills for data interpretation and strategic decision-making.
- Full UK driving license is required for travel to client locations.
- Knowledge of the Tap and Shower market is desirable but not essential.
- Technical understanding of product features and benefits preferred.
