As an Associate Android Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Android applications that provide users with seamless and intuitive experiences. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver features in a collaborative, agile environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about mobile development and eager to grow their skills in Android app development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Android applications with a focus on high-quality code and performance.
  • Collaborate with designers, and senior developers to deliver features on time.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and promote learning among team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application, providing efficient solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
  • Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Integrate with backend services and APIs to support app functionality.
  • Participate in daily standups and sprint planning, following agile methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 0-1 years of experience in Android development (internship or project experience is also acceptable).
  • Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and various Android frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Basic understanding of mobile application lifecycle and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and experience implementing them in mobile applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
