U-Drive have an outstanding opportunity for a switched on and forward-thinking candidate to join our Business Branch in Fareham as the Branch Manager. This is a fast-paced and varied role for an experienced manager, overseeing a dynamic team of 10 in providing an exceptional rental experience to our corporate customer base. Reporting into the Head of Rental Operations you will work a 45-hour week, Monday- Friday.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be a natural leader and a hardworking individual, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, whilst working with a variety of different customers. As a ‘can-do’ problem solver, you will also be working as part of one of the most essential teams to U-Drive in delivering top-notch customer service and unparalleled customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that the branch is run efficiently, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and profitability of the branch. About the Role:Providing year on year branch growth in fleet size, revenue and profitability, while maintaining a minimum fleet utilisation of 75%.Develop and build a team so that they are trained, competent and motivated to perform the tasks assigned to them.Providing good customer service within the branch and across team members so that;Customer enquiries are responded to as quickly as possibleYou and your team know your customers wants and needsTake ownership and responsibility and strive to meet the customers’ expectationsListen to the customer, striving for continuous improvementDeveloping long-term customer relationshipsGenerating and providing good sales leads to the Business Development TeamReporting and providing information to the support functions within the companyCreating a positive branch work environment, promoting a good working relationship with the branch network and support functions About YouThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Key skills, qualifications and attributes required include:Ideally, you’re already successfully working in a management capacity with a vehicle rental or similar – you know how to build and manage a team to deliver exceptional vehicle solutions to your customers and have at least 3 years of management experienceCommercially minded business approach –know how to maximise efficiencies and identify opportunities to produce outstanding resultsYou immerse yourself in every aspect of your business, taking pride in understanding what drives its success.
