We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager – LAP & BL who will drive business growth for Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loans (BL), focusing on high-ticket LAP transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail lending, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and manage a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loan (BL) sales within the assigned branch.
  • Focus on high-ticket LAP transactions, targeting self-employed and SME segments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with DSAs, connectors, and real estate agents to increase lead generation.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets and profitability metrics.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Relationship Managers and Sales Officers, ensuring productivity and goal alignment.
  • Provide regular training and guidance on LAP and BL product offerings, risk assessment, and compliance.
  • Monitor team performance, set clear KPIs, and drive a culture of high performance.

Credit & Risk Management:

  • Work closely with credit underwriting teams to ensure high-quality loan origination and risk assessment.
  • Assess financial statements, repayment capacity, and property valuation for LAP customers.
  • Ensure due diligence and compliance with RBI/NBFC regulatory norms for LAP and BL.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNI clients, SMEs, and self-employed professionals for repeat business.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through quick loan processing, competitive pricing, and excellent post-loan services.
  • Resolve customer grievances effectively and provide guidance on financial solutions.

Operational & Compliance Excellence:

  • Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and company policies while processing loans.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to streamline documentation and loan disbursement processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain reports on sales, credit approvals, and market trends.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Industry Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in LAP and Business Loans in an NBFC, bank, or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of high-ticket LAP lending, credit underwriting, property valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Existing network with DSAs, real estate brokers, and SME customers is a plus.
