We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager – LAP & BL who will drive business growth for Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loans (BL), focusing on high-ticket LAP transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail lending, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and manage a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Business Growth & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loan (BL) sales within the assigned branch.
- Focus on high-ticket LAP transactions, targeting self-employed and SME segments.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with DSAs, connectors, and real estate agents to increase lead generation.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets and profitability metrics.
✅ Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Relationship Managers and Sales Officers, ensuring productivity and goal alignment.
- Provide regular training and guidance on LAP and BL product offerings, risk assessment, and compliance.
- Monitor team performance, set clear KPIs, and drive a culture of high performance.
✅ Credit & Risk Management:
- Work closely with credit underwriting teams to ensure high-quality loan origination and risk assessment.
- Assess financial statements, repayment capacity, and property valuation for LAP customers.
- Ensure due diligence and compliance with RBI/NBFC regulatory norms for LAP and BL.
✅ Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNI clients, SMEs, and self-employed professionals for repeat business.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through quick loan processing, competitive pricing, and excellent post-loan services.
- Resolve customer grievances effectively and provide guidance on financial solutions.
✅ Operational & Compliance Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and company policies while processing loans.
- Collaborate with operations teams to streamline documentation and loan disbursement processes.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain reports on sales, credit approvals, and market trends.
Key Requirements:
✅ Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in LAP and Business Loans in an NBFC, bank, or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of high-ticket LAP lending, credit underwriting, property valuation, and risk assessment.
- Existing network with DSAs, real estate brokers, and SME customers is a plus.
