TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK has an opening for a Brazing Furnace Operator controls and operates electric vacuum furnaces to perform various heat-treating requirements. Communicates cross-functionally between operations, engineering, quality, and core assembly to create a workflow schedule that meets the plant production goals. Works closely with core assembly department to produce quality products. Responsibilities:Reads shop work orders to determine production sequences and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Read blue prints and conduct a visual inspection to insure there are no issues with the core before brazing or heat treatingWork with Engineering to develop fixtures, holding methods, or heat-treating processesPerforms preventative maintenance on furnace equipment including cleaning and visual inspectionFollows all required safety procedures to lock-out and protect against confined space problemsRequirements:High School Diploma/GEDRequires basic computer knowledge and experience in programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn furnace control and monitoring softwareMinimum of two years of Manufacturing experience. Technical school education and brazing furnace operator experience is a plusAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsAdhere to rules and regulations of a FAA Safety Sensitive PositionAbility to work a split shift from Mon-Fri 9AM-5:30PM with some overtime as requiredAbility to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Ability to pass pre-hire background check screening TAT Technologies Group is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
