Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cyber Recovery Specialist to support the development of cyber-specific business continuity and risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing cyber resilience by integrating recovery processes into existing Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans, identifying risks, and establishing governance structures.Key Responsibilities:Documentation & Integration with BCM Plans:Develop comprehensive documentation and structured processes for cyber recovery.Ensure seamless integration of cyber-specific scenarios into existing BCM plans.Collaborate with stakeholders to align BCM processes with cyber incident response frameworks.Risk Analysis & Mitigation:Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and document gaps in cyber recovery strategies across people, processes, and technology.Provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks and enhance cyber resilience.Work closely with IT, security, and operational teams to ensure proactive risk management.Governance & RACI Framework Development:Define governance structures for Cyber Recovery to ensure accountability and operational efficiency.Establish clear roles and responsibilities using the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) framework.Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Qualifications & Skills:Strong experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Cyber Recovery Planning.Knowledge of cybersecurity risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).Hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.Familiarity with incident response planning and governance structures.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, collaborating remotely and onsite when needed.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications such as CBCP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC are a plus.Experience working in enterprise IT environments with BCM and cyber risk focus.Previous exposure to regulatory requirements related to cyber resilience and recovery.Work Location & Flexibility: Hybrid Work Model – Primarily remote with the option to work from the Zaandam office.Work location and schedule may be adjusted depending on project alignment and client stakeholder requirements.If you are passionate about strengthening cyber resilience and ensuring business continuity in the face of evolving cyber threats, we encourage you to apply.
