Job Summary:
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the company's growth initiatives by identifying potential clients, assisting in sales activities, and building strong relationships with partners. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, business development, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through networking, online research, and industry events.
- Client Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, calls, and meetings to introduce company products/services.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain and update CRM records, track sales activities, and report on key performance metrics.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance business development strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Willingness to work onsite at least three (3) times a week.
- Prior experience in a sales-driven environment is a plus but not required.
