Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. This is not a lead generation role; this is a true business development position focused on expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in a call center, SMB, or Enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outreach and prospecting activities.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential clients and markets to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Engage with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities and maintain accurate data in CRM systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments to refine sales strategies.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in relation to call center outsourcing services, SMB SaaS, or an enterprise sales environment.
  • Experience selling and sourcing deals in the US or global market. 
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sourcing new leads, and setting meetings. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport. 
  • Strong analytical and research skills to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Airtable, Hubspot, and Zoominfo.

This is a full-time position, working from 10 am to 7 pm EST (4 pm to 1 am SAST)

The role is primarily in-office, based at our office in Foreshore, Cape Town. The ability to commute to and from the office in Foreshore is required
