Job Description

Are you the candidate we're looking for?‭The Candymaker is responsible for creating and producing candy products in a safe and‬‭ efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking (especially making candy)‬ and a strong understanding of the good manufacturing processes in a professional kitchen.‬‭ Responsibilities:‬Working with company leadership, produce high quality handcrafted products including‬ but not limited to marshmallows, fruit pates, marshmallow based treats‬ Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes‬Cook ingredients to create candy products according to recipes‬‭Package candy products for retail and wholesale customers‬Maintain a clean and organized workspace‬Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations. ServSafe certification preferred‬Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner‬‭ High school diploma or equivalent‬‬‭ 1-3 years of experience in commercial kitchen, bakery or confectionery setting‬‭ Abie to work independently and as part of a team‬‬‭ Able to lift up to 35lbs‬‬‭ Attention to detail and a commitment to quality‬Reliable transportation to our Falls Church, VA facilityServSafe Certification preferred‭
