If you’re passionate about cooking, enjoy working in diverse environments, and have a flair for delivering exceptional hospitality, we want you to join our team!Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Prep/Event Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-volume kitchens, with a strong understanding of kitchen sanitation, food safety procedures, and event-based food production. This position will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes for events, following recipes and chef instructions, and ensuring all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining cleanliness and organization.What You’ll Do:Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to produce food according to recipes and chefs’ instructionsSafely operate kitchen equipment and adhere to cleanliness standards, ensuring all equipment is maintained and sanitizedFollow proper culinary techniques to prepare food in a consistent and high-quality mannerEnsure the proper storage of food products, both raw and prepared, to meet safety standardsPay close attention to detail when preparing and presenting foodMultitask effectively to meet daily food production and event service needsManage time effectively to meet daily production thresholds and ensure timely service during eventsCollaborate with team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operationEnsure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines What We Need From You:3 years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen (preferred)Thorough understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety proceduresOpen availability to work 7 days a week, with hours based on business needsAbility to safely operate all kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness standardsStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and chef instructionsAbility to multitask in a high-pressure environment while maintaining food quality and safetyEffective time management skills to meet production goals and event timelines What You’ll Get From Us:Competitive compensationOpportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environmentThe chance to be part of a dedicated team producing high-quality food for eventsComprehensive training and development to help you grow in your culinary career
