Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support for all maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of repair work in a timely manner.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
- Train staff on safe maintenance practices and equipment usage.
- Ensure the resort's aesthetic and functional standards are consistently met.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
