We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person who is committed to gaining experience in a fast paced, highly flexible environment. This is a large and varied role, which would suit an extremely organised individual, with excellent analytical and time-management skills. The successful candidate for this role will join us in our office in Sandyford for 8 weeks on a full time basis.

The Role

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic intern to join our Connectivity Engineering team. As an ideal candidate, you are currently pursuing a degree in Technology/Engineering/Computer Science or related field and have a passion for applied engineering in a fast-paced telecoms engineering team.


You will have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience to real world telecoms systems and cutting edge IoT (Internet of Things) technologies.


This hands-on role will allow you to gain valuable experience in how a modern technology engineering team works; including monitoring of connectivity network components, supporting project teams in the execution of cutting-edge telecoms projects, as well as assisting in documentation, technical reporting and preparation of network diagrams.

  • We are looking for a Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering, undergraduate/ postgraduate student who is studying in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Your course should have an element of electrical engineering with some exposure to communications/infrastructure hardware (routers, switches, servers) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, LTE, 5G) and an element programming or scripting (e.g. Python).
  • You should be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be a good communicator and be able to demonstrate teamworking skills.
  • You should be eligible to work full time in the Republic of Ireland.
  • You should be on your way to earning a 2H1 or higher in your degree.
  • Most importantly we are looking for candidates who are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
