Apply NowThe Military Customer Account Manager (CAM) has the primary responsibility for managing the business relationship with our military customers. This position is involved in developing new proposals, production/manufacturing strategies and managing the critical/key activities with all our customers. The role requires the ability to work with internal Operations teams to ensure that the needs of the customer are being met, flow down of customer requirements is timely and accurate, and the Voice of the Customer is communicated and drives the internal organization’s behavior. The position is the key to maintaining our customer relationships and creating an exceptional Customer Experience. This does not require a security clearance. Acts as a primary point of contact for existing and potential customersProvides timely response to customer inquiries that include quoting and status updatesProvides price quotes for repair or manufacturing to existing and potential customersPerforms an initial contract review of all purchase/repair orders to ensure a flow-down of requirements, proper schedulingEnsures RFP and Contract complianceProvides continuous status reports to the customers and management as appropriateManages Customer Contracts, PO process, general account maintenance, and RMA process for returnsAdvocates for expedite, when necessary, customer’s order to ensure deliveryCoordinates activities with other internal departments such as production, planning, scheduling, and shipping/ receiving to ensure that the customers’ expectations are metInvestigates and resolves customer issuesManages the on-time delivery of customers assetsManages customer portal, and the scheduling requirements of goods deliveryCoordinates with the Planning and Forecasting team to understand specific customer or market segment requirements (SIOP)Establishes and maintains strong relationships at all levels within the customer organizationPresents to customer and executive leadershipIs willing and able to push the customer first perspective to all level of leadership to improve performance and educateQualificationsBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Management/Administration or relevant field of study – MBA preferred.Minimum of 4 years’ customer service/account management experience in a manufacturing industry is requiredProven ability to work in a collaborative environmentExcellent written and verbal communications using electronic media and direct or phone contact with external and internal customersMicrosoft office: proficient Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Good mobility (job requires movement between departments, including production floor)Detail oriented (high accuracy required)Manage high stress levelsExtremely organized with ability to juggle multiple project deadlines effectively and prioritize taskAnalytical skills and disciplines in support of business planning, strategy development/deployment, relationship management and conflict resolution, with the ability to translate data into insightsDemonstrated ability to manage large, complex aerospace proposals and contractsAchieve or exceed performance objectives for schedule, cost, and qualityEstablish individual KPI’s and operations metrics and report on progress, achievements, and associated business resultsProactively recognize and solve challenges affecting current and future ability to achieve production objectives to meet customer needsDemonstrable experience supporting continuous improvement strategies and additional best-in-class manufacturing techniques to drive competitive advantage in quality, cost, and schedule.Proven track record of successfully building and nurturing multi-level client relationshipsAbility to work with strong personalities PreferredMilitary experience Experience using Exostar, Aeroxchange, Sales Force, or other CRM tools helpfulExperience with MRO’s and OEM’sExperience in business management, program management, sales & marketing or strategic partnering in an Aerospace environment TAT Technologies Group is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
