Provectus is looking for a talented and driven Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and managing data pipelines that empower our organization to leverage data for advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights.Your expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud technologies will be critical as you help us optimize our data infrastructure. If you have a passion for data and a desire to make a significant impact on our data-driven culture, we encourage you to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data storage and processing needs.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide necessary data solutions.Implement and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.Monitor data quality and performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.Utilize cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, for data warehousing and analytics.Document data engineering processes and architectures to improve team knowledge.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.Proficient in SQL and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift.Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Apache Airflow).Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
