We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Capula's technology team in London. Overall purpose of the job:Help deliver our next-gen cloud-native platform built on AWS and Kubernetes by leveraging your DevOps expertise to support multiple software development teams migrating to it.Duties and Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.Provide support to developers (i.e. by helping them migrate to Kubernetes).Handle installation and upgrades of key DevOps tools and systems.Maintain robust DEV and UAT environments to support the software development life cycle.Research and implement new technologies within the DevOps space to improve the effectiveness of our development teams. Education and QualificationsCandidates will ideally hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.ExperienceProven track record of managing DevOps processes to support multiple development teams.Demonstrated experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.Solid experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.Any experience working with cloud service providers, such as AWS, is a plus. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable.SkillsGood verbal and written communication skills.Deep knowledge of Docker.Competence in managing both Linux and Windows servers.Proficiency in Python scripting is considered an asset.
