Position Summary : As a Development Manager at Etraveli Group, you will create a small number of high-performing, productive and healthy teams by driving continuous improvement, tuning the processes to increase efficiency and fostering a growth mentality. You will be overall responsible for a number of teams and to assist you in your role you have team leaders and management colleagues.

We started with a development unit at Pune 3+ years back and in a short time span we have grown to 35+ in count . We have offices in Pune and Mumbai in India and our headquarters is located at Uppsala, Sweden . We have a total employee head strength of 300+ at the Pune office and we are located at the heart of the city in Vimannagar , Weikfield IT Park .

You are genuinely interested in people, have the ability to quickly establish relationships, lead teams and help others to succeed while at the same time taking overall responsibility for team delivery. The way we see it, the product owner is responsible for the team building the right things, the team lead is responsible for the team doing things right, and the development manager is responsible for things being done efficiently in the short and long run.
You are good at and like to facilitate meetings, drive learning through workshops, manage and lead individuals and teams in their careers and developments - be a part of something great. You will be an important part of Etraveli Technology's continued success and work closely with our other managers.
As a person, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where conditions can change from one day to the next. Yes it is challenging, and yet, through good communication skills, you develop the teams as well as your leadership skills.

About the way we work : We strive to work in self-governing teams, with frequent releases. We adapt our working methods as needed and constantly work towards improving ourselves. We regularly have innovative activities where the teams get to work with both self-driven projects but also things like Hackatons and conferences. We also apply unplanned weeks for team-wide work on tools and technical improvements. The bigger part of our stack consists of Java/MySQL/React/Typescript. The development environment is in IntelliJ, case management takes place in Jira. We use Atlassian's entire product portfolio and have Git as a repo manager.
