BACKBONE Athens is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and helping to improve the overall account management process.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our client services team in managing client communication, gathering client requirements for new requests and vetting new leads, assisting with project requirements and coordinating deliverables . You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and gain hands-on experience in the digital industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to clients.

Vetting potential new customers and speaking with existing customers to log deals within the CRM platform

Overseeing client account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements

Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to drive the company's sales strategy and pricing targets

Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills / Google Workspaces is preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Experience with CRM platforms
• Knowledge of web development and digital marketing concepts
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior experience in account management or client-facing role
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
