Job Overview
We are seeking a Hotel Director of Finance to lead our 400 room property. The candidate should have a Hotels or Resorts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience with overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, CapEx, tax preparation, cash flow and projections. This position plays a crucial role in guiding the organization towards achieving its financial goals.

Duties of the Hotel Resort Director of Finance

• Develop and implement financial strategies.
• Oversee the preparation and interpretation of financial reports to provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Lead management activities, including cash flow, aging, controls and CapEX.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational growth through sound financial planning.
• Oversee contracts and legal agreements, and assist hotel management in maintaining licenses, permits, insurance etc.
• Establish and audit internal financial controls, including purchasing, cash handling and disbursements, inventories, hotel equipment, master keys, and payroll.

Requirements of The Hotel Resort Director of Finance

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 7 years as a Director of Hotel Resort Finance.
• 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry.

Compensation: Base $150+bonus potential
