As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s sales strategy to establish brand awareness, position the new property within the market, and drive revenue growth. You will lead the sales team in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities while ensuring alignment with the hotel’s long-term goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Conrad standards across all B2B customer touchpoints.
  • Work closely with Commercial Director to identify needs and opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop sales strategy for rooms and events, targeting ADR, Rev PAR and market share.
  • Develop and implement Sales strategy for segments, markets and channels.
  • Develop Account management plans and monitor progress with Sales team.
  • Accountability and ownership of Sales budget and applicable ROI for any initiatives.
  • Manage sales team, set goals, monitor performance and support team in achieving goals.
  • Understand performance metrics and forecast revenue levels for channels including digital direct and OTAs.
  • Conduct market research and prospect accounts to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Conrad International Sales Teams to create awareness, generate demand and convert business opportunities.
  • Understand and manage luxury consortia.
  • Prepare a reasonable Sales trips plan and manage hotel representation.
  • Conduct site inspections and entertainment activities at the hotel.
  • Work with Marketing and Operations Departments to design products and services, targeting revenue growth.
  • Work with Marketing Team to update Sales collateral timely.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and measure performance of sales team.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in Delphi, Opera and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, in a kind manner within a team-oriented environment.
