Apply NowHave you always wanted to work for a company with a real social mission? This is your chance! AssistiveWare’s mission is to support people with communication difficulties. We provide products and services that address the barriers they face and contribute to a more inclusive society.
We are looking for an Educational Content Product Manager who is passionate about changing the world and has the experience and expertise to contribute to our mission. This is the perfect role for you if you enjoy working collaboratively, transparently, and putting the users first in all aspects of creating solutions.
We are not just a worldwide market leader in apps for people who cannot speak. Our users are at the heart of what we do. Many of them are autistic, have cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and/or fine motor, vision or cognitive challenges. We are proud to collaborate with them and their families, educators, and therapists to ensure our products best serve their needs.
We are a small but diverse family—we are over 40 people representing 19 nationalities and we’re spread around the world. Our business challenges are unique and in order to keep innovating, we need people with different perspectives to join us—people like you. So no matter where you’re from originally, who you love, what you believe in, or what disability you live with, we welcome you to be your true self at AssistiveWare.
As a Product Manager, you will lead the ideation, development, creation and delivery of teaching and learning materials using different formats including print, digital, videos and interactive media. In order to achieve your goals, you will collaborate with members of the AssistiveWare team, including educators, speech-language pathologists (SLP), service designers and motion designers. Additionally, you will ensure the roll out of high-quality educational content and materials is smooth, while working to improve and provide the best learning outcomes.
The role requires working in a Kanban style maintaining a user-centric approach to the development of educational materials. We work in short cycles and frequent releases so we can quickly learn from what has been implemented. While this role is located in the Netherlands, the team is located across timezones and countries which requires flexibility to work non-traditional hours.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
