We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager/Lead to lead and mentor a team of high-performing engineers while staying deeply engaged in technology. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, and Golang, coupled with exceptional people management skills. You will drive the execution of complex engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor engineers in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance applications using Java, Python, and Golang.
- People Management: Lead, inspire, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
- Project Execution: Oversee end-to-end development cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries while maintaining technical excellence.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security in our systems.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Promote best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps to maintain high standards across the team.
- Hiring & Team Growth: Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
Skills & Experience Required
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise in Java, Python, and Golang.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, with a strong focus on mentorship, performance management, and career growth.
- Hands-on experience in building scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working in agile development environments with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for innovation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
