The Role

Aambience, on behalf of its client, one of the biggest Greek law firms with a wide portfolio of clients, is seeking for an experienced Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the company's long-term financial growth and stability. Collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position will be accountable for the preparation and analysis of financial information to provide accurate and timely reporting to management for decision-making purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the finance department and ensure timely completion of all financial activities
  • Prepare financial reports and provide analytical feedback to the CFO relating to financial management and performance
  • Develop strategic financial goals for the company and execute financial planning that supports this strategic initiative
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and in the provision of financial analysis for business operations
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including cash flow, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including GAAP, as well as all legal and ethical standards in all financial activities
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders.

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics. A Master's degree is desirable
  • At least seven years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in the services industry
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles and a working knowledge of GAAP standards
  • Demonstrated capacity to evaluate complex financial data and provide meaningful analysis and recommendations
  • Good understanding of accounting/finance IT tools
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, highly proficient particularly in Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented
  • Sound communication, organizational, and presentation skills with ability to lead and engage stakeholders
