We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations, accounting activities, and due diligence processes for our growing startup. You will work closely with the Company Secretary, Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CA), and Lawyer, contributing significantly to the company’s financial strategy and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and accounting, looking to take on a variety of responsibilities and make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  •  Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Company Secretary, Accountant, CA, and Lawyer to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  •  Due Diligence Process: Lead and coordinate the due diligence activities during fundraising efforts, ensuring all necessary documents and information are prepared and accurate.
  •  Accounting Oversight: Establish and enforce accounting principles, standards, and practices. Oversee the company’s accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  •  Inventory Management: Ensure proper management and tracking of company inventory, from stock levels to valuations and reporting.
  •  Document Management: Maintain important records such as NDAs, order sheets, asset registers, employee records, and other essential documents. Ensure that all documentation is kept organized and compliant with company policies and regulations.
  •  HR Operations Support: Provide support for HR operations, including employee records and compliance-related tasks.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a startup environment, though freshers with relevant internship experience are also welcome to apply. The candidate should be eager to contribute to various aspects of the business, from finance and accounting to company secretarial work and HR operations.

Key Skills:

  •  Accounting: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  •  Company Secretarial Work: Familiarity with the company secretarial function, including regulatory compliance, document management, and legal documentation.
  •  HR Operations: Experience in maintaining employee records, contracts, and other HR documentation.
  •  Communication & Coordination: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
  •  Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  •  Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a startup setting.
  •  Freshers with relevant internship experience in finance, accounting, or HR operations are encouraged to apply.
  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
