Join Marlowe Environmental Services as a Financial Accountant, ensuring financial stability and statutory compliance, including VAT and CIS reporting. You’ll drive improvements in financial controls and efficiencies while collaborating across teams and supporting finance function development.

Hybrid working 3x days per week from the office (GL2 2AQ) and 2x days per week from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Enhance financial controls and streamline processes.
• Support the Financial Accounts Manager in financial management and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and reporting support.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and system improvements.

Person Specification:

• ACA or CIMA qualified (or newly qualified) with strong financial reporting and compliance expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills; Sage 200 and CIS knowledge beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in improving financial processes.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments.
