Pairing deep artistic knowledge with acute interpersonal skills, our GA team provides first-class experiences for everyone at Pace. We require our GAs to be experts on the art and artists that we exhibit and rely on their intuition and high EQ to seamlessly engage guests, clients and friends of the gallery.What You’ll Be Doing:Promptly and warmly welcoming guests to the gallery, create an engaging experience that is inclusive to all visitorsAnswer phones, direct inquiries, manage email correspondence, connect clients with staff Maintain thorough understanding of our current exhibitions, prepare checklists and other related documents Exhibit exceptional communication skills and act as a resource for questions about the gallery and our artistsDemonstrate a high level of sensitivity and discretion regarding confidential information Think quickly under pressure and demonstrate flexibility and patience while navigating rapidly changing business priorities Work effectively both independently and within a team Possess a sincere interest in people and exercise high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) when interacting with guests, clients, etc.Demonstrate motivation and interest in understanding business needs, build strong relationships as needed to assist staff members and achieve shared goalsSupport gallery events and public programming Create and maintain sales documents, provide administrative support to teams across the gallery Pack and coordinate gallery mailings and shipments Maintain CRM data entryOrder and maintain office and pantry supplies In addition to an active and progressive work environment, Pace Gallery offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement plans with a company match, flexible spending accounts and commuter benefits.
