General Ledger Fixed Assets Associate Accountant

Job Purpose

This position will be part of the Fixed Assets process team, responsible for the accurate and on time performing of FA activities, according to group policies.

Outside the closing period, the key tasks included are the preparation of AUC analysis, FA reconciliation, BS Reconciliation and controls.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performance of month-end closing activities

  • Support at ad hoc requests from internal clients

  • Work closely with a senior accountant and support in daily activities, reconciliation reports, audit requests and the ongoing projects

  • Support the Migration to S4 Hana (active role in the preparation process as well as during the after Go-Live period)


Qualifications &Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in relevant role

  • Experience with ERPs , R3 and S4 Hana would be considered a plus

  • Fluent in English

  • Conversant in French, German, Italian or any other European language is a plus
