You will lead a team of talented data engineers to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions, ensuring that our clients have access to accurate and actionable insights.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality work and the efficient delivery of data engineering solutions.Develop and implement data engineering strategies, frameworks, and best practices that align with business objectives and technical requirements.Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, pipelines, and systems to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to identify technical needs and translate them into effective data engineering solutions.Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve data infrastructure and pipeline performance.Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of data infrastructure with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.Optimize the performance of data systems and pipelines, providing regular updates on performance metrics and progress to senior management.Monitor and manage data engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery while maintaining high standards of data quality and scalability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related fieldProven experience in a leadership role within a data-driven organizationStrong knowledge of data management principles and best practicesExperience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousingProficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBIFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS or AzureExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Office environment: When you come to our b_labs office, you'll find creative workspaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and an open design to foster collaboration between teams.Education budget: We believe the learning journey never ends, therefore you will be entitled to an annual education budget to take part in trainings, courses or onsite conferences of your choice.Flexibility: You know best whether you want to work from home or in the office.
