We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our finance team to lead the accounting operations with Payfuture FS MT Ltd., an electronic money institution licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to grow within our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the finance department and its staff.
• Implements, reviews, and maintain accounting internal controls and procedures.
• Monitors and manages all expenses to ensure the most effective use of assets.
• Review of merchant and payment processes agreements, from an accounting point of view.
• Overseeing chart of accounts integrity.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Manage the Company's accounting and financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Maintains general ledger.
• Manages Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Reviewing reconciliations performed by Treasury and FinOps Departments.

• Fully qualified accountant.
• 4 years’ experience within financial institutions, ideally electronic-money institutions
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Xero, and Tableau is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of financial regulations in Malta.
