We are looking for a driven, humble, and curious Accounting Leader to join our finance team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the global accounting function at a fast-scaling venture backed tech company AERONES. You’ll play a key role in building out a best-in-class finance function, working alongside an experienced CFO and leadership team. Our business spans multiple jurisdictions, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, embraces process improvement, and can operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our global accounting function, including managing an internal team and coordinating with external advisors
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting
• Lead preparation for audits and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards (e.g., IFRS/local GAAP)
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities across the accounting function
• Work cross-functionally with operational, commercial, and legal teams in multiple countries to ensure accounting processes support business goals
• Support implementation of systems and controls to improve scalability and reporting accuracy

• 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting, including experience in an international context
• Background in Big 4 audit or advisory is strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with multi-entity, multi-currency operations
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead accounting functions in a fast-paced, scaling business
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in English and Latvian
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred
