About the Role:
As a Human Resource Manager, you will plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the human resource and workplace relations activities within the organisation. Your role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compliance with employment regulations, and HR strategy implementation to meet business needs. Key responsibilities include:

Human Resource Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies, policies, and workforce plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, and retention of employees and interns.
  • Monitor and evaluate employment costs, workforce productivity, and HR operations to enhance efficiency.

Employee Relations & Workplace Policies

  • Advise and assist internal employees in applying recruitment, selection, training, and development programs.
  • Implement and oversee performance management systems to assess and enhance individual and team performance.
  • Develop and manage occupational health and safety programs and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
  • Represent the organisation in negotiations with employees and external stakeholders regarding employment conditions, remuneration, and workplace policies.

HR Compliance & Business Support

  • Ensure adherence to Australian employment laws, Fair Work regulations, and workplace relations requirements.
  • Manage and apply redundancy and employee retrenchment policies when necessary.
  • Oversee equal employment opportunity programs to promote workplace diversity and inclusion.

HR Operations & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and enhance HR systems, ATS, CRM, and personnel records to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead HR process improvements to optimise administrative workflows and enhance employee experience.
  • Support HR marketing and employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

Training & Organisational Development

  • Design and implement employee development programs to build leadership and technical skills.
  • Train and mentor junior HR staff and interns in HR processes, compliance, and workplace relations.
  • Oversee succession planning and talent development strategies to strengthen the workforce.

Stakeholder Management & HR Leadership

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, employees, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings with leadership teams and hiring managers to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Represent the company in networking events and HR industry forums to enhance Australiance’s presence.

About You: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of HR management experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and strategic HR planning.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage HR operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
