We are currently seeking an IT System Engineer to join our team in Paiania, Greece.

By joining this role, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

Your role will encompass:

• Designing, implementing, and managing system architectures to meet business needs.
• Integrate, operate and manage third party vendors in enterprise projects or services
• Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, providing efficient resolutions.
• Ensuring system security, managing updates, and preventing vulnerabilities.
• Analyzing network data and system performance to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Overseeing system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, including operational manuals and technical reports.
• Training internal teams on system best practices and emerging technologies.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements to enhance system performance and security.

What you bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with system administration, networking, and database management.
• Proficiency with operating systems such as Linux and UNIX.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server) and backup software as Commvault or similar products.
• Experience in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Experience in VMWare vCenter or similar hypervisor, Microsoft OS, Active Directory and DNS, M365 Applications, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI models) and cybersecurity best practices.
• AWS , Azure , Oracle Cloud -or other public cloud vendors- knowledge and certifications will be considered a plus.
