Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insights & Research Intern to join our team for a three-month internship. The successful candidate will provide essential support across various research, content, and learning initiatives, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic professional environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and develop practical skills while working with multiple organisations to make their workplaces inclusive.

Key Responsibilities:
Insights and Research Support:

  • Assisting in the analysis & reporting of quantitative data, utilising appropriate statistical software
  • Supporting the interviews with stakeholders and focus group facilitation to collect rich qualitative data on allyship and belonging
  • Supporting the analysis & reporting of qualitative data, contributing to the identification of key themes and insights
  • Supporting with the report writing process for our 2025 research
  • Conducting a detailed market analysis of LGBTQ+ workplace trends and providers
  • Supporting the delivery of advisory projects (data analysis & policy/strategy-based support) as required, contributing to wider project objectives
  • Supporting the creation of best practice case studies using our proprietary Inclusion Index Benchmarking Tool (iiBT) data


Content Support:

  • Supporting the creation process of the fortnightly News Digests
  • Supporting the development of member collaterals and toolkits
  • Supporting with preparation of presentation slides for webinars and events
  • Supporting marketing with the creation of two blog articles.


Learning Solutions Support:

  • Supporting with the building of event microsites
  • Personalising slides decks using predefined templates
  • Supporting with the preparation for delivery of training and engagements
  • Supporting with the development of mentoring focussed sessions

What Technical Skills Will You Need?

  • A background in research
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative data integration skills with the ability to use data to tell stories and produce insights
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with statistical software such as R Studio and Stata
  • Ability to create impactful presentations using PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated understanding of hybrid social research methods
  • Knowledge and/or a passion for inclusion and belonging

  • A person with excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with taking responsibility and being accountable for delivering excellent outcomes
  • Some experience presenting to audiences is desirable

Other Elements to Consider

  • The intern will be required to come in 3 days to our London Office based in Warnford Court
  • Our standard working hours are 9 AM- 6 PM, Monday-Friday
