A quick look at the role

The Integration Developer works in the Biffa Software Development team and is an expert in using Azure integrations to transfer data between legacy and new applications. The role works across major transformation projects, liaising with vendors to integrate their applications into the system landscape, and on internal development projects to enhance existing integrations.

Your core responsibilities

• Design, build and support reusable integration interfaces
• Select appropriate technology for each new integration, providing pros and cons for each option
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, data migration teams and other developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of integrations, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the integrations.
• Develop new or enhance internal .Net applications.
• Participate in code reviews, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to the team and stakeholders.

Our essential requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• 3 years’ experience in developing and managing Azure based integrations
• Strong experience developing integrations using .NET Framework, ASP.NET, LogicApps and Web APIs
• Knowledge of RESTfulAPI design, API security, and versioning. Ability to implement and maintain secure and scalable APIs
• Knowledge of D365 or other CRM/ERPs is desirable
