Summary of role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international investment bank as part of the Group Corporate Responsibility function, based in London, as VP – Culture & Internal Communications. The role-holder will be responsible for partnering with the Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Responsibility Officer and global HR teams to deliver on all Culture focused workstreams (including international affinity groups) and the firm’s internal communications strategy (including intranet, internal newsletter and employee magazine).

Core responsibilities

Partnering with the Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Responsibility Officer and global HR teams to deliver all Culture focused workstreams:

Internally: facilitation and management of 4 international affinity groups

• Management of ‘People Stories’ internal webinar series

Externally: Planning and execution of core Culture campaigns (International Women’s Day and Pride)

• Execution of ‘Culture calendar’
• Employer brand activity (recruitment collateral)

Partnering with the Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Responsibility Officer to deliver all internal communications, including:

• Oversight and development of global Intranet – The Hub
• Monthly global Internal Newsletter
• Delivery of quarterly employee magazine

• Genuine passion / interest in building an inclusive workplace

• Experience working with Sharepoint / other Intranet tools

• Experience working with email marketing systems (eg Spotler)

• Proven track record facilitating large working groups (preferably in an FS setting)

• Experience developing an internal communications strategy

• Development and execution of employee engagement or Culture focused initiatives

• Enjoys and has a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Previous experience in financial services (investment banking or private equity) preferred

• Willingness to take ownership of new initiatives and look for new opportunities to add value

• Exceptional written abilities with meticulous attention to detail – proof-reading, adaptation to corporate tone of voice
