Role

As a Buyer at Destinus, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities. You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for our operations. Key Responsibilities

•  Assist in Supplier Selection - Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
•  Order Processing - Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
•  Inventory Management - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
•  Vendor Communication - Maintain effective communication with suppliers to track order status and resolve any issues.
•  Market Research - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
•  Documentation - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
•  Support Negotiations - Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
•  Collaboration - Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MSD procurement software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Minimum B2 level needed in Dutch.
