You will be responsible for:

• Monitor and Track Overdue Accounts: Identify past-due accounts and regularly review their status to ensure timely follow-up. 
• Client Communication: Contact clients via phone, email, or written correspondence to remind them of outstanding payments and discuss available options. 
• Negotiate Payment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop manageable and realistic repayment solutions. 
• Escalate Collection Matters: Assist in escalating unresolved accounts, including recommending legal or third-party collection action when necessary. 
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all communications, payment arrangements, and recovery actions in the system. 
• Support to Credit Controller: Provide administrative and analytical support to the Credit Controller in monitoring credit risk, preparing reports, and optimizing collection strategies. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Attention to detail and good organizational habits. 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
• Basic understanding of credit and collection practices is a plus. 
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 

• Previous experience in collections, customer service, or administrative roles will be an added advantage. 
  

Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience in debt collection 

• Experience working with Xero (desirable) 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Great attention to detail 

• Experience in the digital marketing/SAAS industry (desirable)
