We're seeking talented frontend developers to join one of our three scrum teams. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping team growth and developing our code base. Working alongside five engineers, a UX designer, and a Product Manager, you'll have the autonomy to help our platform grow in the US market and drive innovation in areas such as social investment features, document and workflow management, and legal template generation. Teams are managed from within and report directly to the CTO, allowing direct collaboration with your manager to solve technical challenges.
This unique role offers extensive insights into the startup ecosystem, VC fundraising, investor tax schemes, and more, providing invaluable domain knowledge beneficial for entrepreneurship.
We're an international team of 25 developers from 12 countries, utilizing a hybrid working model promoting flexibility and collaboration. Teams meet fortnightly at our Hackney offices for planning, whiteboarding, and socializing, while allowing remote work flexibility
The ideal candidate would be either a recent graduate or a self starter with some Front-end experience
Must-haves:
● Love solving challenging problems
● Passion for building high-performance web applications (mobile and desktop)
● Experience and enjoyment working with TypeScript
● Ownership mindset through all development stages
Nice-to-haves:
● Personal projects (blogs, open-source contributions, freelance work)
● Experience with Angular (React/Vue experience also welcomed)
● Appreciation and understanding of TDD
● Interest in web application performance
● Alignment with Agile manifesto
