ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a global leader & pioneer in entertainment, is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their Development Team.

The company offers a robust web platform that supports the entertainment sector across  multiple countries.

🖋️You will be reporting to: Engineering Director

What you will do:

You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for the continuous development, optimization, and maintenance of a large-scale web ticketing platform.

More specifically:

• Develop new functionalities and enhance existing ones
• Analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Integrate 3rd party systems via REST APIs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
• Produce technical documentation and user manuals
• Validate deliverables and ensure data accuracy
• Provide support for small systems and platform modules
• Ensure code quality and adherence to standards

• University Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar software engineering role
• Strong knowledge of Java SE / EE and Spring Framework (JPA/Hibernate)
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MSSQL)
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven) and Git workflows
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSP) is a plus
• Fluency in English
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and initiative
