We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to drive the architecture, development, and optimization of our backend systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance solutions, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust and efficient applications. Key Responsibilities

•  Lead Backend Development: Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure backend solutions.
•  Technical Ownership: Take full ownership of backend services, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and well-documented.
•  Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and improve development workflows.
•  API Development: Design and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between front-end and backend services.
•  Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
•  Scalability & Performance Optimization: Build highly scalable applications, optimizing system performance and reliability.
•  Cloud & DevOps: Work with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
•  Security & Compliance: Implement best security practices to safeguard data and prevent vulnerabilities.
•  Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
•  Collaboration: Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Required Skills & Experience

•  5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong foundation in designing scalable and distributed systems.
•  Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
•  Strong expertise in databases (SQL & NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
•  Experience with API design (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
•  Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
•  Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
•  Experience with messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is a plus.
•  Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
•  Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
