Join a fast-growing engineering team based in Central Bangalore, working at the cutting edge of Energy, Weather & Climate Sciences, and AI. We currently serve clients across India, Bhutan, and the Middle East, with planned expansion into US and European markets. As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead critical engineering efforts, drive product innovation, and ensure seamless delivery of 24x7 mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Ownership:

• Lead the engineering stack end-to-end, including Data Engineering and MLOps.
• Architect and maintain scalable, high-availability software systems.

Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and analysts.
• Drive regular performance reviews and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Product Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products.
• Translate product requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Operations & Service Delivery:

• Ensure 24x7 uptime and reliability of critical services for power utilities.
• Take ownership of operational excellence and delivery SLAs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python with expertise in data engineering and machine learning deployments.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and other NoSQL systems.
• Prior experience building and managing high-availability, production-grade systems.
• Solid foundation in software architecture, design principles, and system modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• 4–5 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
• 2–3 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
