We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel RES to join our Legal Energy team, part of our Legal, Contracts & Compliance General Division based in Athens.
Your Role Will Encompass

• Providing timely legal advice and support regarding day-to-day issues and regulatory matters in Greek RES Development sector
• Drafting and negotiation of contracts relevant to RES development (land lease or purchase agreements, grid connection contracts, contracts for the transfers of substations, agreements for substation costs sharing, services agreements, etc)
• Preparation of corporate minutes according to the applicable legislation required for the RES projects
• Assisting the project teams in the preparation of bids/offers for RES projects
• Providing risk assessment analysis for topics of concern
• Assisting in formulating precedents as well as the processes and procedures of the legal team for the relevant practice area
• Liaise with external law firms to obtain fee quotes and legal advice, and to manage and approve legal spend within pre-approved budgets
  

• Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Greece
• Familiarity with titles searches with the land registry and the preparation of relevant reports on property titles
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language
