We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly customer focused team member to join our team in a permanent part time role. This role works an average of 20.5 hours per week, with some weekend shifts and additional shifts (up to a maximum of 40 hours per week) available at times.

In this role, you will create a welcoming and informative library environment; carrying out general library duties such as assisting customers, shelving books, administration of library memberships and returns. As part of the Community and Heritage Team you will contribute to the provision of library services to the Nelson Community through programming, community engagement, outreach and heritage and research services. Additionally you will provide support to the Team Leader and be a point of contact for staff and the public when rostered, help to deliver projects specific to Community and Heritage and support with team administration as required.

Pay Banding for part time role is pro rata'd for 20.5 hours equal to $29,000 - $32,126 p.a
