Job Description:

The family is looking for a loving, proactive, and discreet Nanny-Housekeeper to join their household and play a key role in their daily lives. You will focus primarily on the children, nurturing their growth through play, teaching, and general care, while also performing housekeeping duties. The family is looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys creating a stimulating environment, and is excited to travel with them from time to time. ✈️

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily routines, including feeding, changing, playtime, nap time, nursery pick-up
• Actively engage in educational activities and creative play with the children.
• Housekeeping tasks, cleaning up the children’s rooms & bathrooms, and keeping the house tidy
• Travel with the family regularly (sometimes away from Europe)
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children at all times.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism, respecting the family's privacy.

Hours:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a 1-2hour break, where you can leave or relax in your room), 5.5 days per week.

Important Information:

• This is a long-term position that involves some travels, so you must be enthusiastic about traveling with the family.
• The position is designed for someone who is dedicated to the well-being and development of the children while maintaining a respectful and professional approach to the family’s needs.

Requirements:

• EU Passport or valid Swiss Work Permit.
• Proven experience in childcare in a private family environment, particularly with young children around 8 months old (min 5 years).
• Must provide checkable references.
• Ability to travel and remain flexible with schedules.
• Proactive, respectful, and discrete demeanor, with the ability to take initiative.
• Fluent in English or Spanish or Italian or French.
• Must be comfortable working in a VIP environment, with an understanding of the importance of discretion and respect for privacy.
• Loving, patient, and enthusiastic about caring for and teaching children.
